Diabetes: 7 Ways to avoid Type 2 Diabetes

1. Cut down on sugary and carbohydrate rich food

Drink 8 glasses of water a day can help you have enough moisture in the body and keep the water as your main beverage.  


4. Avoid smoking

Smoking can put you at risk for lung cancer, heart disease, prostate and breast cancer, and not just diabetes. 


5. Maintain a healthy weight

You should maintain a proper weight for your height or find out more about body mass index. 


6. Cut down on junk food

Noodles and meatballs should not be a staple of your diet. Overeating can lead to heart disease, being overweight and diabetes. 


7. Drink tea and coffee

Drinking coffee and tea properly can help you reduce your chances of developing diabetes.
