DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. IT Operations Management

  • Install, modify and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Support IP phones, IP Nurse call, EMR/EHR, PACS and mail system.
  • Checks system logs for errors.
  • Starts jobs and monitors logs to ensure the successful completion of jobs.
  • Troubleshoot miscellaneous network and server issues.
  • Provide technical support via phone, chat or email.
  • Provide after hours and on-call support as needed.
  • Document end-user queries, problems and solutions.
  • Follow up to ensure the issue has been resolved.
  • Maintain office hardware and software inventories.
  • Solve problems on Windows platform with advanced skills.
  • Institutional upgrades and sweeps, as needed, following established procedures for installation and machine configuration.
  • Installing, repairing or replacing an assortment of different IT equipment ranging from printers to desktop computers.
  • Recommend means for product or system improvements including procedural steps, increased training, and enhanced documentation.
  • Maintain and protect confidentiality, privacy and security with regard to all aspects of patient care and employee information.
  • Review and recommend modifications to procedures.
  • Gather and input data for regular reports.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

2. Process Improvement

  • Work with other divisional heads on process improvement initiative driven by management
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline the process so as to achieve better efficiency

3. Risk Management

  • Work with other divisional heads to developed TPH business impact analysis.
  • Ensure organisation Risk and mitigation plan for all clinic are developed and exercised periodically.
  • Chair Risk review meeting and develop implementation plans to address risk

4. Project Management

  • Carry out project tasking assigned by IT Manager

Requirement

  • Postgraduated/graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systemt Management and other related field.
  • Knowledge of developing policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Proficiency in the various desktop operating system environments and basic desktop application suites, including word-processing, spreadsheet, and email.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Knowledge of PC and printer hardware.
  • Knowledge of setting up with Microsoft products and PC hardwareand maintenance of databases.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining interpersonal relationships with all levels of personnel.
  • Skilled in planning, organizing, and supervising.
  • Skilled in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision making.
  • Ability to work under stress, interruptions and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to exercise professionalism in dealing with all levels of personnel.
  • Comfortable with crisis & business contingency management and project management
  • Familiar with local regulatory requirements relating to safety, security, building and environmental standards
