Breast cancer is not an infectious or transmissible disease. At present, there are no known viral or bacterial infections linked to the development of breast cancer. Breast cancer mostly occurs in females with the following traits:
– Over 40 years old
– Obese
– Harmful use of alcohol
– Family history of breast cancer
– History of radiation exposure
– Reproductive history
– Too much tobacco use
– Postmenopausal hormone therapy
